About

Are you working in the film and TV industry with a big project you need to tackle? Whether you need to redo your reel, fill out grant applications, create your website, assemble a crew, research a project, write your short film, revamp your marketing materials, find representation, or something else entirely — we want to help you get it done. Breaking into and sustaining a career in this industry is hard, and it's even harder to stay motivated when you're doing it alone. Our Summer of Accountability gives you the structure, support, and community to actually finish what you've been putting off. Participants receive: Live group coaching sessions on Zoom where you'll gain the tools to get started, discover what's holding you back, and celebrate your wins. (Three sessions held on select evenings throughout the program.) Weekly virtual coworking sessions — drop in for 90 minutes of focused coworking time. We start by sharing goals, stay on camera while working, and close by sharing progress. Sometimes you just need a push to get going. (Eight sessions held weekly on a consistent weekday and time.) Weekly assignments that walk you through goal-setting, budgeting your time and money, building a routine, and more. (New assignments go live on our course platform each week.) A cohort of like-minded creatives who help you stay accountable. Connect at coaching and coworking sessions, cheer each other on in the forum, and get paired with an accountability buddy to keep you going. This program is $99 for Moonshot Annual Members or $299 for non-members.

I would highly recommend this course to aspiring TV & film writers/creatives. The daily prompts helped me push past feelings of stuckness and writer’s block, and the meetups helped offer diverse perspectives and experiential learning of fellow cohort members. One of the best investments in my creative career. I have a framework now for my pilot, which gave me the direction I needed to move forward with bringing my idea one step closer to reality.
