Jo Rochelle is a Jamaican American TV writer and filmmaker, based in California, originally from Minneapolis. Her films have screened at SXSW, Dances with Films, Bentonville, Urbanworld, and BlackStar, among others. She has developed a family drama pilot at Netflix and has written for Good Trouble on Freeform/Hulu. She continues to develop projects featuring complex family dynamics and characters existing in two worlds.
Anna Suzuki is a Japanese-Jewish writer/actor/comedian born in a toilet in Tokyo (true story) and raised by Mount Fuji. Anna was a staff writer on the Disney+ musical comedy series, Electric Bloom. She is the co-creator of the parody girl group, AzN PoP! (sold-out runs at UCB, Joe’s Pub Off-Broadway) Acting credits: Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It, New Amsterdam, High Maintenance, ABC Diversity Showcase, and more. Career highlight: singing with puppets and Bradley Cooper.
Katarina Hughes is an LA based writer, actor, and filmmaker from Cincinnati. Her award-winning shorts Hippo and Golden Record Received, which she wrote, directed, and starred in, have screened at Malibu Film Festival, Just For Laughs, Brooklyn SciFi, Chicago Comedy Fest, and UN Environmental Assembly, among others. She writes character based comedy about everywoman anti-heroes, Americana, and fate vs. coincidence often exploring the persistent, existential question: “Why am I me at this moment in time?”
Christina Ingraldi is a Puerto Rican writer based in LA, though she swears she remains a New Yorker at heart. She’s a YA and romance obsessive who loves exploring themes of identity and found family, often highlighting characters who don’t quite know where they fit. She’s a 2026 Humanitas New Voices Fellow, a 2025 NHMC Series Screenwriting Fellow, and the Showrunner’s Assistant for the upcoming Amazon romance series Rose Hill.
Julia Ireland is a writer with experience on literary, digital, and audio projects whose scripts center female relationships and use humor to explore dysfunction, disillusionment, and grief. She has worked as a communications consultant, ghostwriter, and editor and currently works with Broadway Video as a writer's assistant and script supervisor on Audible Original series, including Heads Will Roll, co-written by Kate McKinnon, and Hot White Heist, directed by Alan Cumming. Julia lives in New York.
Minoti Vaishnav is a film, television, and audio series writer, and a published short fiction author. She has staffed on and developed projects for CBS, Universal Television, NatGeo, Fox Entertainment Studios and more. She holds a Masters degree in Creative Writing from Oxford University, speaks multiple languages, has experience in the investigative field and in the legal field, and she reads tarot cards. Oh and she’s a former popstar. But that’s another story.
Bre Skye is a proud Rust Belt baby who cried over too many league bowling games growing up. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York, Bre writes stories that pull humor and magic out of the mundane. She participated in the Native American Media Alliance’s TV Writers Lab and received a 2025 Native American Writers Accelerator Grant via the Netflix Fund for Creative Equity. Bre currently resides in North Hollywood with her many Neopets.
Based in NYC, Soo-jin Kim and Joseph Abruquah have been writing together since 2025.
Soo-jin is an award-winning filmmaker who draws on her experience in finance, social media and hospitality to write about high-achieving women who are one decision away from blowing everything up.
Joseph is an award-winning Creative Director and filmmaker with extensive experience in advertising. His work puts underrepresented voices, particularly Black and African stories, at the center.
Together, Soo-jin and Joseph are a synergistic team, each bringing different strengths to story telling. Their creative harmony holds until the conversation turns to chocolate and strawberry milk.
