We're Kicking Off Our Summer of Accountability!

This June and July, Moonshot Initiative is offering our first-ever Summer of Accountability to help those in the film and TV industry work toward their goals.

Are you working in the film and TV industry and have a big project you need to tackle?

Whether you need to redo your reel, fill out grant applications, create your website, assemble a film crew, research a project, write your short film, revamp your marketing materials, find representation, or more, we want to help you accomplish your goal this summer!

We know that our filmmaking community has faced a lot of uncertainty in recent years with the state of the industry. There are fewer opportunities, and even if you want to create your own opportunities, it can feel challenging to keep pushing through.

That’s why we created our first-ever Summer of Accountability to support our community members’ personal goals and projects. Participants will receive:

• Live group coaching sessions on Zoom where you’ll gain the tools to get started, discover what’s holding you back, and celebrate your successes. (Wednesdays June 4, July 9, and July 30, 5-6 p.m. PT / 8-9 p.m. ET)

• Weekly virtual coworking sessions — drop in for 90 minutes of concentrated coworking time each week! We’ll begin each session by sharing our goals, stay on camera while working, and end the session by sharing our progress with the group. Sometimes, you just need a push to get going! (Tuesdays June 3, 10, 17 and 24, and July 8, 15, 22, and 29, from 10-11:30 a.m. PT / 1-2:30 p.m. ET)

• Weekly assignments to walk you through goal-setting, budgeting your time and money, creating a routine, and more. (Assignments go live on our website course platform every Monday of June and July.)

• A cohort of like-minded creatives and filmmakers who can help you stay accountable to your goals. Connect with your cohort at our coaching and coworking sessions, cheer each other on via the forum, and get assigned an accountability buddy to help you keep going.

Whether you’re a composer who needs to build a new website, an actor who needs new marketing materials, a producer who needs to make a production timeline and budget, a writer looking to draft a project, an editor focused on learning a new editing software, a director sending out cold query letters, or a filmmaker fundraising for a project, we hope you join us. This program is $99 for Moonshot Members or $250 for non-members.
