How to ACTUALLY make progress in your film/TV career this summer

The 4 low-pressure, high-reward things I’m doing to actually make progress in my film/TV career before the beginning of fall
Co-working. I get SO much more done in the same couple of hours if I’m working alongside people.
Finding an accountability buddy. Being your own “boss” in your creative career is GREAT till you realize no one’s checking in.
Setting achievable weekly goals. Slow progress all summer beats random, unfocused bursts of work.
Setting a deadline. I’ve learned I HAVE to be working toward an outside deadline, whether it’s submitting to a contest or getting peer feedback.
You don’t have to do this alone. We’ve planned 9 weeks of co-working sessions, prompts, and accountability buddies as part of our Summer of Accountability.
Join a community of dozens of women and gender-expansive folks in film/TV who are going to be reaching their goals TOGETHER this summer.
Let’s make this the Summer of Accountability! We brought back our popular accountability program and made it FREE for our Annual Members this year.
(By the way, if you’ve done our Write a Pilot in 30 Days or Revise a Pilot in 30 Days courses, this is WAY less time-intensive. You can make progress while still enjoying your summer!)
The program runs from June 22 - August 18, with virtual co-working sessions on Tuesdays from 10-11:30 a.m. PT / 1-2:30 p.m. ET each week.
FREE for Annual Members (discount automatically applied when logged into our site); 50% off for Monthly Members using the code in our Discounts forum; $299 for non-members.
